The opening of the sixth edition of the Nardò Jazz Festival features the Francesco Schepisi Quintet with The Elevation Project. Pianist Francesco Schepisi from Bari, together with Gaetano Partipilo (alto saxophone), Samantha Spinazzola (vocals), Antonello Losacco (double bass and electric bass) and Vito Tenzone (drums), will present a contemporary sound that blends African American tradition with the lyricism of the Mediterranean. Admission is free.
